Tallwood Constructions and the Bunbury Wavemasters are proud to present the first annual Battle of the Blades Saturday 31st 2015.

Comprising of a long and short course, the Blades aims to take advantage of the consistent SW breeze that blows in Summer in Bunbury, and involves a course across Koombana Bay, through The Cut and up Leschenault Estuary to finish at Ridley's Place Australind, approx 9km. a short course of 4km will also be available from The Cut to Australind, about 4km.

An excellent beginners event, the course is protected from the ocean swells that can often make downwinding confusing and challenging to those less experienced.

The event will be open to OC1's, SUP's and OC2's. Billed as a local club event, all comers are more than welcome to travel down and join us, particularly those in the South West looking to reignite the local racing scene. A rough handicap system will be devised to set up for a race for line honours.

Event cost TBA over the next few days, will be token to cover basic costs to put this event on.
